Update about Booking Blood Tests
From Wednesday 29th September the BGPA will reopen its online booking service and patients will be able to book phlebotomy appointments again in the usual way. Due to the backlog of appointments the earliest patients will be able to book a test is from 1st November.
If a patient requires a blood test sooner on medical grounds then this will be requested by a clinician.
Those patients who have been waiting for an appointment will begin to be contacted and booked into an available slot over the coming weeks. We thank you for your patience whilst you are waiting to be contacted
PLEASE DO NOT USE E-CONSULT TO REQUEST YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS - PLEASE USE YOUR EMIS ACCESS ACCOUNT OR LEAVE A WRITTEN REQUEST IN THE USUAL WAY
The doctors and staff at Chislehurst Medical Practice in Kent are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.
We are currently reviewing how we best manage patient demand and for a trial period patients will be unable to submit an Econsult between 6.30pm Friday and 8am Monday (or 00.01am Tuesday following a bank holiday). If you require medical help during this time please telephone 111.
Patients will still be able to access the Econsult service Monday 8am to Friday 6.30pm.
We appreciate your patience and understanding whilst we review our processes.
We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
All patients are allocated a named GP. If you want details of your allocated GP please ask at Reception.
Our philosophy is continuity of care. This ensures good, cost effective safe Practice for our patients. You may need to wait a little longer to see the clinician currently dealing with your problem.
In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.
